Share 'What kind of hardware is required?'

hi everybody, i could use a little help: i was trying to scan a 2D code the other day. although i double-checked all the software settings, i still dont get the result. now i'm wondering if it's maybe a hardware problem? the graphic chip probably? i'm using a macbook with an intel gma 950 graphic chip. did anyone experience the same problems and manage to resolve them?
